Eswatini: A Place to Belong
There’s no hurry in The Kingdom of Eswatini. It’s a place with warm faces who welcome you in every street.
My beloved country was recently renamed during the King’s 50th birthday, from Swaziland to eSwatini meaning “land of the Swazis”. The new name certainly fits the bill – with the former name often being confused with Switzerland at international events.
I’ve travelled to quite a few countries around the world and have found my home to be the most refreshing and unique.
I recently took a school break back home, and what I missed the most were the majestic mountains with clear blue skies which make you wonder, how is it that such beauty exists.
Our culture, my pride is the most authentic experience and we are truly enjoyable. In just a few days, I had some of the best home cooked food, best weather, best wildlife experiences, witnessed colorful and lively cultural dances, and hiked several walking trails.
Waking up to the smell of bacon and hot coco every morning made my short visit worthwhile, my dad’s voice asking for his newspaper, my mum shouting girls don’t sleep till late and my nieces and nephews jumping with so much energy. This is the best place on earth with family #loveliveshere (this bring tears to my eyes) ok enough!
I had a pleasure of visiting our Limkokwing campus in eSwatini. In the corridors you meet people dancing to the latest jams in the country, you see the most happening outfits and trendy hair-dos. Here, we have quite the most stylish people in the country.
I got all the attention from friends and people on the streets from my outfits, from the world’s 1st fashion label by a University, Limkokwing Fashion Club runway pieces shown in Kuala Lumpur and turned many heads turned with the Designer Oversized Shirt and Essential Graffiti Tie! Not only that we also rocked the sexy number and slim fitting Empowered dress on the mountains of the Kingdom.
For my curvy sister, Seneme Fashion Club also got her covered on the day with one of our latest collection Fashion Hustler Elongated Tee and she looked gorg! The youngest yet most creative sister Wandile rocked the 3 Colour Design Your Future Crop Top with some attitude.
And finally my personal favorite, my holy grail, I legit swear by it the B Rectangular bag which can be transformed from day time to party time anywhere in the world.
Can’t wait to have Fashion Club in eSwatini soon. Stay posted. In the meantime, you can get your favourite new arrivals on fashionclub.my
